Privacy, in plain language.

1. What we collect

When you request a free result, Lucida stores the name, birthdate, and email address you provide after you give consent. Birth time and city are optional for the free snapshot, but are needed for products that include an Ascendant and houses. When a city is resolved, we may also store its coordinates, time zone, and calculated UTC birth time.

2. Orders and reports

For an order, we keep the selected product and add-ons, price and currency, payment-provider identifiers, payment and fulfilment status, delivery status, and timestamps. The personalized PDF is kept in private file storage so the customer can retrieve it through their private order link.

3. What we do not collect

Card numbers and security codes never pass through Lucida. Payment details are entered on the payment provider’s secure checkout. Lucida receives only the result of the transaction and the identifiers needed to reconcile your order.

4. How your details are used

• Calculate the astronomical placements used in your reading.
• Create, store, deliver, and support your private report.
• Prevent duplicate payments, fraud, and delivery errors.
• Send transactional messages about the order you requested.

Lucida does not add you to marketing messages through the free-reading or checkout forms. Marketing would require a separate, optional sign-up.

5. Service providers

Lucida may use service providers for payment processing, transactional email, private file storage, hosting, and city geocoding. Each receives only the data needed for its role. We do not sell your birth details or email address.

6. Retention and your choices

Order records are retained only as needed for delivery, support, fraud prevention, accounting, and legal obligations. Free-reading records are kept only while needed to provide and support the requested result. You may ask for a copy, correction, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@lucidaastro.com. Some transaction records may need to be retained where law requires it.

7. Private links and security

Report links contain a private access token. Do not post or forward them unless you intend to share the report. If a link is exposed, contact support@lucidaastro.com from the order email address so the request can be verified.

8. Adults only

Lucida is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child submitted data, contact support@lucidaastro.com so it can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.

9. Changes and contact
